The Snap Pea 'Cascadia' offers a cascade of plump and thick-walled peas with a distinctively crispy texture and sweet taste. These compact plants, standing at approximately 2 ½ feet tall, do not require trellising.

SOW the seeds outdoors in the early spring when conditions are still moist. For the best results, space the seeds about 1 to 2 inches apart in rows that are approximately 1 foot apart.

HARVEST the snap peas as soon as they have plumped up. If left on the vine for too long, the peas will become starchy, and the fruit production will slow down.

TIPS: Snap peas are a cool weather crop and will not perform well in the heat of summer. For optimal growth, plant them in the early spring and again about 2 ½ months before your first frost date in the fall.
